What Is PHP?
Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center provide individual and group mental health services that help you process and manage daily life. We work through challenges together, with a fluid approach specific to your needs and situation.
PHPs — partial hospitalization programs — are mental health day treatment programs for adults age 18 and older. PHPs are an alternative to inpatient treatment for people who don’t require 24/7 care, while giving you extra support beyond weekly therapy visits. PHP participants meet for treatment on weekdays from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and then return home.
